Q. What is the BINAY Political Dynasty?
A. The Binay Dynasty is a real Pinoy political drama. Four Binays all in the government -- at the executive, in Congress, in one of the country's richest cities, and at the Senate -- all at the same time!
Vice President Binay Senior
Senator Nancy Binay
Rep. Abigail Binay
Makati Mayor Binay Junior
Will Binay become the first Philippine vice president to resign in disgrace?
"My people, here is my solemn promise to you: if I poured my time and knowledge to make sure that everyone in Makati partakes in its prosperity, so have I continued to do the same as your elected Vice President of the country." Mr Clean Binay
“BinayGate” is a general term used to describe a complex web of political scandals in the Philippines being associated with the House of Binay. The word was specifically adopted from the "Watergate "Scandal that brought down Richard Nixon

- “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” Senadora Nancy Binay Senator Nancy Binay found a way of dealing with criticisms that the pricey Makati City Hall 2 that her father Jejomar built does not merit to be called world-class.
- What does China have to do with the alleged overpricing of the P2.2 billion Makati City Hall Building 2 project?According to Makati Congresswoman Abigail Binay, the high price of construction for the building was brought on by an increase in steel prices due to a construction boom in China in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Q. What's the famous BINAY "Rags to Riches" story?
A. “I’m hearing emotional stories about his family,” Obama reportedly told President Benigno S. Aquino III as Binay narrated his story (during the State Dinner). From YahooNews
The Early Years:Jojo Binay was not born into wealth and political prestige, nor did he taste the privileges accorded to the scions of the rich and powerful.
Jejomar “Jojo”Binay was born on November 11, 1942 to Diego Binay of Batangas and Lourdes Cabauatan of Isabela. Orphaned at the age of nine, his uncle Ponciano of Culi-Culi, Makati took care of him.
As a young boy, Jojo would collect slop (kaning baboy) for his uncle’s backyard piggery, clean the front yard early in the morning, and look after his uncle’s fighting cocks. Afterwards, he would go to the public market for his daily errands.
NOW: The Court of Appeals (CA) has granted a petition by the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) to freeze the bank accounts of Vice President Jejomar Binay totaling P600 million. The 33-page order issued on May 11 also covered bank accounts of Binay’s son Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay Jr. and his wife Elenita.

Rationale For Dynasty: "Yes, we're a dynasty. We're a dynasty of service." The Binays
"Ilang beses man nilang ulit-ulit e hanggang ngayon wala pa silang hard evidence. Nakakalungkot lang dahil sa mga Senate hearings puro sinungaling ang pine-present nilang resource persons."
"I think meron millions ang dad ko (P643 million in banks) kasi medyo masinop ‘yun e. May alkansya nga ‘yun, nag iipon ‘yun ng coins."Senadora Nancy Binay
"Sa 25 years na pagtatrabaho, eto ang pumasok -- P643 million in a span of 25 years. Kasama pa dito ang mga nakuhang campaign funding."
Q. Does Binay own the so-called Hacienda Binay in Batangas?
A. Permit us to quote the much respected Inquirer columnist, Solita Monsod:"The summary of events as I see them: Binay owns the Rosario property. Tiu’s actions—his failure to do real due diligence, his inconsistencies, his cavalier treatment of the property that he claims he owns/leases/can use exclusively—indicate that he is merely holding the property until Binay wants it again, or is holding the property for Binay to use." Your viewpoint please.

Q. Who is Gerry Limlingan?
A. Who is Gerry Limlingan, the person whose name has surfaced several times in Senate hearings on alleged irregularities involving Vice President Jejomar Binay? Limlingan had been tagged by former Makati Vice Mayor Ernesto Mercado as a supposed bagman of Binay when he was still Makati City mayor. Bureau of Immigration records show he is still in the country, having last gone abroad in 2003, GMA News' Jun Veneracion reported on "24 Oras" Thursday evening. Yet, despite repeated invitations and subpoenas by the Senate, Limlingan has yet to surface. Mercado had claimed during Senate hearings that Limlingan acted as a supposed dummy of Binay in businesses and properties not declared in Binay's Statements of Assets and Liabilities. These allegedly include Agri-Fortuna Inc., the company that bought Binay's piggery business in Rosario, Batangas.
GMA News has made repeated attempts to contact Limlingan. At the Vistamar Building in Makati where he reportedly resides, a security guard said he had left as early as 2010. Makati City Hall said Limlingan was not one of its employees. The Office of the Vice President also said Limlingan was not connected with it.
